PROPERTY DESCRIPTION

This is a beautiful villa with a living space of 125 sqm, perfect for 6 holidaymakers looking for a stunning and peaceful place to spend their holiday.  The house is spacious, well equipped and furnished, and in a very sought after area offering great views of the Luberon countryside.

It sits on the top of a plateau, just above the picturesque village of Bonnieux. The local area is noted for fine restaurants, interesting villages and easy access to great walking and cycling trails through the hills.

This villa benefits from a private, rural setting but is also within easy reach of local village shops and facilities.

The pool was brand new in 2016 and sits within the large garden.

The village of Bonnieux has a rich and varied history and is considered to be one of the most beautiful in the Luberon. 

In summer the village is really popular and therefore has some great restaurants and cafés. Although not very big, it has some useful and interesting shops, including bakers, butchers, grocery, pharmacy, post office, bike hire shop and tourist information centre. There's also a local market on a Friday. All this is only 5 minutes away from the house! 

The winding roads of the Luberon, with spectacular views, are great to explore and you'll find loads of picturesque villages (Gordes, Menerbes, Maubec) on the doorstep and no doubt you'll want to stop and take some refreshments! 

Just a short drive away there's a great Sunday morning market at Coustellet and the larger town of Apt is only 15 minutes away. 

There's lots to do and see in the area; St Remy-de-Provence, famous for its Roman architecture, Les Baux with its ruined castle and unique rock formations, L'Isle sur la Sorgue, famous as an antique centre and market. Also within easy reach are Pont du Gard, Avignon with the Palace of the Popes, Marseille with its famous waterfront, the Amphitheatre at Nimes and the cultured avenues of Aix-en-Provence 

If activity is your thing, this area is perfect for climbing, cycling, mountain biking, trekking, golf, tennis and swimming.

Living room: The living room is very comfortable for 6 and is decorated in an uncluttered, relaxed style.  Huge windows bring the stunning Luberon views right into the house.  It's a lovely room to enjoy the morning sunshine, or relax by the open fire in the evening, perhaps to watch some TV - flat screen with International channels.

Dining: If you choose to eat inside there is large dining table and chairs in the kitchen, or of course for most of the year you can eat outside on one of the two, beautiful terraces.

Kitchen: A spacious room with a high, beamed ceiling.  It has everything you will need for self catering - oven, kettle, toaster, coffee machine, clothes dryer, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and laundry facilities.

Bedrooms: 3 bedrooms in all.  One is the large Master room, with plenty of natural light and a spacious en-suite bathroom.  French doors lead out onto the terrace. There's another double bedroom, again with countryside views, plus a third bedroom with 3 single beds.  All are furnished with high quality beds, style and care.

Bathrooms: The Master bedroom has an ensuite bathroom with a bath, shower, toilet and basin.  There's also a second bathroom, with bath/shower, toilet and basin. 

Outside: The photos should give you an idea of the great outdoor space. The private land covers 5000m2. It's wonderful to sit on one of the shady terraces and absorb the tranquility of the surrounding vineyards and lavender fields.  To keep you entertained there's frisbee and boules...

Swimming pool: A new addtion for 2016, the private pool measures 4 x 11 and is protected by a security cover.

Internet:  Wifi access is available at the Villa.

Gas, electric, & water: are all included in the summer rental cost of your stay.

End-of-stay cleaning:  this is charged at 245 euros per stay and payable locally to the owner on arrival please.

Bed & bathroom linen: are included in the rental cost, as are pool towels.

Babies and Children: we can offer you a cot for babies and a range of toys and games to keep your children entertained.

Taxe de Sejour: in France, it is necessary to pay a “Taxe de Séjour” at the end of your stay. It has been included here in the rental cost.

Damage deposit: The owner requests a damage deposit of 750 Euros on arrival please. The deposit will be refunded to you at the end of your stay, less the replacement cost of any breakages or extra cleaning charges.  

Change over day: Normally Saturday but there is a degree of flexibility out of high season
Long weekend stays: Possible in the winter upon request

Pets: are not permitted at this villa - sorry.

Smoking: is not permitted inside this villa – sorry.
