It was actually a Provencal silk farm expertly converted into a superb 5 bedroom holiday house which has retained many original features.

5 air conditioned bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, modern fully equipped kitchen, comfortable sitting room with separate bar.

Outside there is also plenty of space; a dining area with built in barbecue and sheltered courtyard.

Property Features

Villa St Henri was absolutely perfect clean, welcoming, superbly well cared for and very well equipped. We loved the outdoor kitchen!

A luxurious home, an absolute oasis of calm and charm. And so well situated in the village, close to four restaurants, all the shops you could need, on a bus route! Everyone was so, so friendly and helpful

We all had an amazing time together and despite the extreme heat, which meant we didn’t venture very far, we enjoyed immersing ourselves in the aromas of Provence and the general way of life. Obviously we had tomatoes and melons for every meal. A small fruit and veg shop behind the house sells everything, and the epicerie supplies most things, and serves beer or coffee for the bag-carrier! The boulangerie/patisserie open on 14 July clean and fresh and way too attractive! The butcher is also a very helpful person, selling a range of local cheeses and some ready made traditional dishes too.

The cafe opposite is a real gem. A set meal every lunch time, different every day, and a bar the rest of the time. Friday night is food truck night! Drinks from the bar, and three different food trucks to choose from. Lots of locals enjoying an informal night out.

We enjoyed Mama, a charming wee restaurant with the menus for the week posted on a blackboard. Every day a vegetarian option to choose from. They make a very very limited range of bread, depending on the heat of the oven used for lunch, but delicious nonetheless

There are some lovely walks very close by in the woods, and the small back roads mean a walk to Oppède le Vieux is easy.

The housekeeper was so helpful and obviously takes a huge pride in getting everything perfect for the visitors.

Can’t believe that after all our original correspondence concerning the ifs and buts of covid, and then the subsequent travel ups and downs, that everything ran so smoothly!

Once again, thank you so much for all your help, and your impeccable taste in recommending the villa to us!

CM August 2022

The ability to host many guests is wonderful and we appreciate the well equipped kitchen. The location is perfect for exploring all the markets and activities offered in Provence. St Henri is a fabulous property. We will be back!

HM July 2022

Merci.

Magnificent property, private, large, superbly equipped inside and out. A corner for everyone at any time of the day, a superb "barn" both protected and unshut, fully equipped for meals and family evenings. We felt welcomed and keen to to take care of this property. Owners, gardener, housekeeper are very caring. Close to all the beautiful villages. Thank you.

Beautiful place, very spacious and well laid out with different corners, terraces and gardens to relax in and follow the sun. We are already already planning for next year!

Nous avions beaucoup aimé notre séjour dans votre villa. Tout était parfait : maison et jardin magnifiques et très bien équipé. Merci encore de nous avoir permis de passer cette semaine idyllique.
We really enjoyed our stay in your villa. Everything was perfect: beautiful house and garden and very well equipped. Thank you again for allowing us to have a wonderful week.

SL, France, August 2020

We loved the new awning above the new little table and its very useful two chairs. More white roses and other flowers had been planted, too, which made the garden even lovelier than it was last year. Marie Odile now has two very friendly, pleasant young helpers, and the gardener came immediately when I told her there was a leak in the sprinkling system. It`s pure pleasure to be there.

Ms J June 2019

The villa was absolutely perfect. It is so luxurious and so incredibly well equipped to be almost unbelievable. We had a couple of barbecues and cooked one meal. Every single thing we needed was there, even two teapots in a French house! Four of our group swam regularly, the pool being warm enough, even in April.
We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay there.
We couldn`t praise everything enough. You have been extremely helpful all the way through.

F&P from UK

The house, pool and gardens were ideal. The outdoor kitchen was fabulous, we cooked a BBQ twice in the week. The village had 2 great restaurants which we tried and there was another which was attached to a hotel that looked worth trying.

The village wa in a great spot for exploring the many beautiful villages. We had a great day Kayaking (3 of us) on the river which took us under the Ponte du Guard. Was an amazing experience.

The many vineyards is a wine lovers delight. We managed to squeeze in a visit to a local one which the owner suggested. Lovely host.

We would love to go back and stay again and explore further. It was extremely hot 1/2 of the week which limited us a little but certainly did not impact the great time we had.

Also thanks for the great correspondence during requesting reservation and up to the point of travel - the document you sent on the area was perfect and we used it allot to plan our days.

Would certainly be back if we can. My parents loved the photos and are also thinking of booking.

We like the fact that all bedrooms are en-suite and with air conditioning

Mr R, UK July 2018

Excellent! A fantastic place which we will definitely return too. The house was immaculately clean and the grounds beautifully maintained. The outside seating areas are wonderful to sit with a glass of wine and enjoy the beautiful rose and lavender garden. It’s also great for us to find accommodation of this quality that accepts our dog, because we wouldn’t leave her at home!
The heated pool was fabulous, when the weather was dull we could still enjoy a swim and it was kept lovely and clean by the UV cleaning system!

KG from UK, May 2018

It`s dazzling. First-time guests are impressed and delighted by the elegance of the garden and the beauty of the house, indoors and out. The harmonious flow between the outside (lawn and gardens) and the inside means we really live al fresco there.

AJ from USA

Villa St Henri is in a beautiful village with all of the essentials on the doorstep. It is within very easy reach of numerous villages, walks etc so there is plenty to do (with little effort!).
The house was spotlessly clean, very comfortable, and very private. The setting was simply lovely with a number of outdoor areas to relax in and a wonderful pool.
Mme Odile was extremely accommodating and helpful. In fact, everyone that we met was friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend the property and the village.

Mrs W, UK, Sept 2017

It`s a beautiful property in a beautiful area. As always very happy with JDV Holidays
The best features of the property were the outdoor areas, pool garden and the outdoor kitchen

Mr Mc, August 2017

Beautiful, stylish, very well equipped, best accommodation we have had in Provence. absolutely stunning. will be returning next summer
Mr M, Suffolk, October 2016

The reality of this house far exceeds the pictures on the website. We had a glorious two weeks at the house and enjoyed every minute. The kitchen is very well equipped as is the BBQ area which is where we ate all our evening meals (not without first spraying ourselves with mosquito repellent). Everything has been thoughtfully designed from the house to the garden and Mikael left a ladder out so we could cut grapes from the vine - they were so sweet and delicious.  We liked how the spacious bedrooms were spread out over the property so that we all had privacy when needed and we will definitely be going back to Villa St. Henri.
Mr K, OXFORD, United Kingdom, August 2016
The villa and its location surpassed our expectations. It was a fantastic place for a family celebration and the  Chef Domicile, you recommended was fantastic. His food was absolutely delicious and the service provided went the extra mile. Thanks again and we will be in touch when we plan our next trip to France!
Ms D, London, July 2016
I'm writing to say that we've had an absolutely wonderful time in this perfect house in Maubec. The house itself is beautiful and runs perfectly smoothly, the pool is nothing short of exquisite, the garden is beautiful, the personnel are great (tall, smiling Mikael and warm, energetic Odile), the proximity to art towns and markets is ideal. Our family and friends have had a marvelous time - thank you.
Ms J, USA, May 2016
Absolutely loved the Maison, Mickael was charming and helpful (we had a flat tire on arrival, he got it repaired that day!) I want to live in the Maison!
Ms P, USA, April 2014
Maison St Henri is simply stunning. A fabulous location, superb facilities and great advice and local knowledge from Helen at JDV holidays. Highly recommended.
Mrs H,  June 2013
The property was outstanding!

Mrs M, London, UK, Sept 2013
Fantastic property - exceeded our expectations in comfort and luxury. Superbly well furnished and stocked especially the kitchen and outdoor kitchen/BBQ. The owners have clearly given a great deal of thought to what their guests would need. Everything about it is beautifully done and a great deal of thought has obviously gone into it – there wasn’t a single thing lacking and everything provided was of the highest quality. Highly recommended.
Mrs C, Shropshire, UK, July 2013

Excellent property very well managed and maintained.
Mrs S, Brentwood, UK, August 12

Mrs H, Somerset, UK, June 2012
A superb, well equipped, clean and comfortable property with lovely gardens and a well maintained pool.
Mr R, Kent, UK. August 2011.
The villa was excellently equipped (particularly the kitchen) spacious, well-laid out allowing privacy for two families and very comfortable. The girls (and the pool man) who looked after the property were great - considerate and helpful. The grounds were cleverly arranged, with shady and quiet areas, lovely planting and a well designed pool area. The covered outdoor dining area was perfect for card games as well as family meals. The welcome box of fresh fruit was a great start to a lovely holiday.
Mrs P, London, UK, July 2011
Beautiful property in a delightful, quiet village close to all of the tourist hotspots in the Luberon. We couldn't have had a better location for our first visit to the area.  Very Satisfied. Mr N, Birmingham, September 2009
