This spacious, 2-bedroom, dual aspect apartment has fantastic views over the sea and the Port of Nice. From here you can enjoy the cafes and restaurants of the Old Town or just sit and watch the ships passing by from your balcony!

The apartment is approximately 85 sq metres and comprises of a spacious living/dining room, an open-plan kitchen, 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, a separate WC, a large balcony and a secure outside parking space.

We can also offer you other apartments within this building, so if you are going as a group and require additional accommodation, please ask us for details.

The apartment is set on the 5th floor (with a lift) within a well-kept residence, and is just 50 metres from the shops and 100 metres from the sea.

It has a maximum occupancy of 6 people (plus babies) and would be perfect for a family or a group of friends who wish to be near to the sea, and all that the City of Nice has to offer.



Local shops can be found just 50 metres away, a boulangerie 100 metres, a supermarket 150 metres and a wonderful restaurant on the sea front just 20 metres. You also have a great selection of restaurants to choose from all around the port area and in the nearby 'old town of Nice. There is a great choice of shopping in the department stores, the designer shops and gift shops of Nice.

Local markets are held in Nice and Villefranche. The most well known is held in the ‘Cours Saleya’ in Nice, adjacent to the old town, and offers an array of olives, flowers and fresh produce. There is also an antiques market held here on a Monday.

Sporting activities in the area are abundant– there is sailing, diving, fishing, water sports, jogging and rollerblading along the Promenade des Anglais, and of course the beaches. You are also in very close proximity to the mountains and hills of the Alpes Maritimes region here, which makes walking and cycling very popular.

Beaches can be found just 50 metres away at the Plage Nautique, and right along the front of Nice, as far as the airport. From here you can enjoy the sunshine glittering on the azure blue waters of the Med, watch the many boats crossing the ‘Baie des Anges’, and see the planes and helicopters coming in and out of the airport.

The ski stations of Valberg, Isola 2000 and Auron are approximately 1 hour’s drive away if you fancy a couple of days winter sports!

Getting around is very easy from here. You have the bus and train services, which have a great network along the coast and further inland - the nearest bus stop to this apartment is 20 metres away. A car is really not necessary here, however there is a parking space provided.

Sightseeing is endless; you have the historical old town of Nice; the restaurants and yachts in the port of Nice; a stroll along the Promenade des Anglais; the views from the Chateau of Nice; the Museums of Art in Nice; the animals & plants at Parc Phoenix; the charming Mediterranean towns of Villefranche-sur-Mer and Beaulieu-sur-Mer; the zoo and coastal walk around Cap-Ferrat; the perched village at Eze; the casinos and port of Monaco; and the Italian border town of Menton. It is also possible to cross over the border to experience the flavour of Italy!

Other entertainment includes shopping, the casinos & nightlife of Nice, boat trips, cinemas, wine tasting, helicopter rides, or just good old relaxing on the beach!

 

Living room: is very large and bright and has fantastic dual-aspect views over the Port of Nice. It has large glazed doors opening out to a balcony where you can sit and watch the boats go by whilst enjoying your lunch! The living room is equipped with two comfortable sofas (one is a sofa bed for 2 people), a coffee table, a TV (International/English channels), a DVD player and a Hi-Fi.

Dining room: is included within the living room and has a table and chairs for 8 people.

Kitchen: is open plan to the living room and is separated by a breakfast bar with 4 stools. The contemporary kitchen is very well equipped for cooking and dining and has an oven, electric hob, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, washing machine and a coffee machine. In the hall cupboard there is an iron and ironing board.

Bedrooms: there are 2 good-sized double bedrooms. One has a double bed 160x200cm and the other 140x200cm. There is also a double sofa bed in the living room.

Bathrooms: there is one large bathroom, which is well appointed with a corner bath, a hair washer, a shower and double washbasins. There is also an independent WC. Hairdryer available.

Outside: there is a good-sized, south-facing balcony with a large table and two chairs. It gets the sun most of the day and has fantastic views over the port, Mont Boron and the sea. The apartment has one exterior parking place.

Swimming pool: is not available here, but then you do have the beaches and the sea on your doorstep!

Internet: Wi-Fi is available here for your laptop.

Telephone: is not available here -sorry.

Baby facilities: a baby cot and a child’s mattress can be made available here upon request.

Winter heating: is by central heating radiators and is generally available after the end of October. This is included in the rental cost.

Gas, electric & water: are all included in the rental cost.

End-of-stay cleaning: has been priced separately, so that if you are staying for more than 1 week you are not paying in duplicate. It is 85 Euros and is paid directly to the owner.

Bed & bathroom linen: has been priced separately here to give you the option to take your own (or in case the number of people in your party is less than the number of places). If you wish to hire these, they are available for 20 Euros per bed for linen and 10 Euros per person for towels, paid directly to the owner.

Taxe de Séjour: in France, it is necessary to pay a “Taxe de Séjour” at the end of your stay. On this property it is 1.00 Euros per person (over 12 years), per day, and is payable directly to the owner.

Damage deposit: The owner requests a damage deposit of 200 Euros on arrival. This will be refunded to you at the end of your stay, less the replacement cost of any breakages.

Change over day: is normally a Saturday but the owners may be flexible upon request.

Long weekend stays: may be possible here with a minimum 4 night stay – please enquire.

Pets: are permitted at this property upon request – please ask for details.

Smoking: is not permitted inside this property – sorry.

Supplementary services: the owner is able to arrange the services of the following as a supplement: babysitter, please ask for details.

    Apartment was great . We loved the way it was laid out and the design. The apartment was very clean and Sandra was extremely helpful in explaining all the details.     Hello Paul, ............ first I must tell you that after booking my own holidays for the past five years, that this year we hit the jackpot. It’s always a worry when you rely on others but you came up trumps with this one. I’ve not even stayed in hotels this good and we never go lower than 4/5 stars. The very, very, best apartment I’ve stayed in. We would like a different location next year, with a sea view, plenty to see, and lots of shops, are you up for the challenge.     The apartment is in the Port neighborhood, which is close enough but also far away from immediate beach or inner city scene. We were here in April, and rain and cool winds prevented us from spending any time on the balcony, though the views through the windows were at times beautiful, facing the sea (where the ferries and other cruise ships come in to dock out one window and a hilly green historic park on the side), and also annoying after a time (when the ferries came in German and other cruise ships and their came in with their blazing engines and loudspeakers). The spirit of the place is very positive with lots of light and an unshut kitchen. But we really recommend the owners invest in a total upgrade in the kitchen and overall rennovation snd furniture.For example, the nice thing about an apartment is the possibility to prepare breakfast or simple meals. Yet there wasn`t a decent knife and the coffee machine and all appliances were at least 15-20 years old. Wouldn`t cost - a month`s rent or so - and the place vastly improved. The neighborhood is really great, and probably more authentic than living in central Nice. There is a wonderful shop with prepared foods on the right side as you go up the Rue Stalingrad with delicious Nice specialties to take away and a good bakery just beyond. The bus stops right in front and there are bikes for let around the corner. All in all a good experience. (How satisfied were you with the property ?) Satisfied - Mrs F from Vienna, Apr 12.     Hi Paul, we`re back home from our week`s holiday at Apartment Euphorbe in Nice....and very nice it was too. The view from the balcony was superb and it was well situated for all amentities. All four of us really enjoyed ourselves...the weather was generally superb......There were a couple of relatively minor issues which in general did not spoil a much needed break - we would certainly recommend JDV and Apartment Euphorbe to others and we are trying to find a slot for ourselves again there next year.     This apartment is extremely spacious and has superb 270 degree views of sea, hills and port. If you enjoy people watching and just watching the world go by this is the ideal place. The apartment was brilliantly well-equipped with everything we needed and more. We had an excellent stay here and would highly recommend both the apartment and this company for their excellent customer service and friendly and polite way of dealing with our every need. The owner who met us on arrival gave lots of information about the area and the apartment and was really friendly, as was the agent who came at the end of the stay. Balcony was great - we spent most of the time out there when we were at the apartment - great for a long lazy breakfast watching the world go by. It gets the sun from 10am right into the evening. The balcony could do with more than one sun lounger seat though to make it more comfy. The area was in walking distance of a small beach and about a 10 minute walk from the main beaches and 20 mins stroll from the old town. The main marina part of the port is just a 2 minute walk with some great restaurants and a really lively Irish bar - Miss H. from Tyne & Wear, May 10.
