PROPERTY DESCRIPTION

This lovely holiday house, built on a gentle slope close to St Saturnin les Apt, has wide views over the surrounding Luberon countryside.

It is situated within easy walking distance (only 1.5 km) of the medieval village and the weekly market held on a Tuesday.

There’s a wonderful garden with lavender and thyme and a large, private, salt water, infinity pool.

The house has 2 large bedrooms on the first floor and 3 more bedrooms adjoining the main house.

The whole property is comfortably furnished with a large dining table and garden furniture.

The shaded terraces invite you to admire the rolling landscape with the song of cicadas.

A perfect spot to relax and enjoy.

The village of Saint-Saturnin-les-Apt sits in a dominant position, facing south towards the Luberon hills. It’s well known for its delicious cherries, so this, along with a wealth of Roman architecture and good quality restaurants, makes it a great base for a holiday.

If you want to explore the area, the winding roads of the Luberon have spectacular views and you'll find loads of picturesque villages (Gordes, Menerbes, Bonnieux) on the doorstep.

Just a short drive away there's a great Sunday morning market at Coustellet and the larger town of Apt is only 10 minutes away.

There's loads to do and see in the area; St Remy-de-Provence, famous for its Roman architecture, Les Baux with its ruined castle and unique rock formations, L'Isle sur la Sorgue, famous as an antique centre and market. Also within easy reach are Pont du Gard, Avignon with the Palace of the Popes, Marseille with its famous waterfront, the Amphitheatre at Nimes and the cultured avenues of Aix-en-Provence.

If activity is your thing, this area is perfect for climbing, cycling (bike hire available in Bonnieux just 15 minutes away), mountain biking, trekking, golf, tennis and swimming.

The Villa: Situated close to the village shops, restaurants and markets, this is a great holiday house for up to 10 people – there’s plenty of room to relax! The ground floor has high ceilings and stone floors, which keep the villa naturally cool in the summer months.

The Living Room: is very well furnished with style and quality. There’s a TV with satellite channels, stereo and wifi access.

The kitchen: is modern and well planned with a fridge freezer, oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher, coffee machine, toaster and kettle. There’s plenty of utensils, crockery and cutlery for 10 people.

Bedrooms: There are 5 bedrooms in total; 2 large ones on the first floor and 3 more, located independently on the ground floor, adjoining the main house. There are 3 double beds and 2 king size beds.

Bathrooms: There are 2 bathrooms, 3 shower rooms and 5 toilets.

Outside: The villa has a large, landscaped garden and lovely views. There are several terraces to choose from, with good quality outdoor furniture for relaxing or dining ‘al fresco’

Swimming pool: The private, infinity pool measures 13 x 6 x 1.8 m and is protected by a pool alarm.
 Internet: Wifi access is available at the Villa

Gas, electric, & water: Are all included in the rental cost.

End-of-stay cleaning: The owner of the house organises the end of stay cleaning and this is included in the rental price.

Bed & bathroom linen: Bed linen and bathroom towels are all provided.

Babies and Children: Are very welcome and there’s a cot available.

Taxe de Sejour: in France, it is necessary to pay a “Taxe de Séjour” at the end of your stay. It is included in the cost of your holiday.
v Damage deposit: The owner requests a damage deposit of 1000 Euros and this will be refunded to you at the end of your stay, less the replacement cost of any breakages.

Change over day: Saturday

Pets: sorry, no pets are allowed at this property.

Smoking: is not permitted.
