Property Description

Mas des Chaberts is a beautifully refurbished old hameau with two charming properties. Comfort is guaranteed here to make your holiday memorable. Set amongst the vines and with views of the surrounding woodland ensuring you privacy, for that ‘get away from it all’ feeling.
Mas 1 sleeps 6 people, 4 in the main house and 2 in an independant dwelling across the courtyard. Mas 2 sleeps 6 people. Hence the property is available to rent for either 6 or 12 people
There are two pools, one for each house and areas for you to barbeque, or you can just relax on one of the four terraces, all with beautiful garden furniture, and while away the day.
For those who want to take a break from the cooking, there is a chef available.The Mas also caters for weddings and private functions and with the owners expertise, they can organize for you, the caterers, the marquee, the flowers and even the church!

Property Features

Living/Dining Room in Mas 1: Is very light, spacious and comfortable with big comfy sofas and chairs, large windows, beamed ceilings and a 42” Plasma international TV, DVD and iPod speakers. The dining room has its own indoor barbeque and a large dining table and chairs.
Living Room in Mas 2: This is a bright, comfortable and spacious area with two large and comfy sofas, a Plasma TV, DVD player and iPod speakers. French windows lead out on to one of the many eating terraces around the property.
Kitchens in Mas 1 and Mas 2:  These luxury kitchens are very modern and fitted with top of the range kitchen equipment. In each, there is a cooker, large fridge, washing machine, dishwasher and an excellent selection of cooking utensils. There is a table and chairs for 6 people in the large kitchen in Mas 2.
Bedrooms in Mas 1: There are three bedrooms, one double with king size bed, separate bathroom with bath and shower and one twin with shower and toilet. The third double bedroom is in an independent dwelling across the courtyard. Mas 2:  There are three bedrooms, one has a super king 4 poster-bed with en-suite and toilet, the second bedroom has a queen size bed (double) and the third bedroom is a twin/double. All the bedrooms are beautifully appointed with quality soft furnishings and linens
Additional accommodation:  This independant accommodation is part of Mas 1 and has the 3rd double bedroom, with shower and toilet.  It has its own living room which opens out on to the pool and terrace and is just across the courtyard from Mas 1
Bathrooms in Mas 1:  The main bedroom has an independant modern family bathroom with a bath and shower, and the twin bedroom has a shower room with toilet . In the third bedroom there is a shower room and toilet. Mas 2: Bedroom 1 has an en-suite with shower and toilet. Bedroom 2 and 3 share a family bathroom with bath, shower and toilet
Outside:   The properties are set amongst the owner’s private vineyard and surrounded by woodland and hills.  The large gardens are beautifully maintained and there is ample space to roam.  There are four terraces and each is furnished with teak sun loungers, tables and chairs and comfy outdoor seating.
Parking:  There is ample room for parking at the front of the property.
Swimming Pools:  There are two swimming pools, one for each Mas, which can be heated for an extra charge. 
Internet: Connection is available for your laptop via Wi-Fi.
Telephone: Is available at these houses.
Baby facilities: There are cots and a chairs available, plus a large selection of baby equipment.
Bed and bathroom linens: The towels, included pool towels, and bed linen are of the highest quality and are included in the rental cost.
Winter heating: Is included in the rental cost
Gas, electric and water: Is included in the rental cost
End-of-stay cleaning: Is included in the rental cost.
Taxe de Sejour: In France, it is necessary to pay a ‘Tax de Sejour’ at the end of your stay.  It has been included here in the rental cost.
Damage deposit: The owner requests a damage deposit of 25% of the holiday rental, payable on arrival and this will be refunded to you at the end of your stay, less the replacement cost of any breakages.
Change over day: Is normally Saturday, but please enquire
Long weekend stays and mini breaks: May be possible, please enquire.
Pets: Are not permitted here - sorry

About the local area

Plan de la Tour is an active Provencal village and is surrounded by vineyards and Mediterranean woodland including oaks, pines, olives, mimosa and chestnut trees. The village is not far from the bustling towns of St Maxime and St Tropez, and the beautiful beaches.
Sports facilities/Activities: There are plenty of activities available such as, diving, sailing, golf (two 18 hole courses), cycling, hiking, fishing, riding, mountain biking, and even a casino. There is also the famous Aqualand water park and a children’s playground. The nearest beaches are in Ste Maxime, Boules and tennis can be played in the village.
Sightseeing: This traditional French village is one of the few remaining jewels of unspoiled Provence with its old lanes, terracotta roofs and ancient bell tower. Despite its timeless charm, it still has all the amenities one could wish for. There are several small grocery stores, a Tourist Office, a pharmacy and a tabac. There are even two working vineyards on the edge of the village for those who want to try the local wines.
Markets:  Thursday morning is market day in Plan de la Tour and there lots of local markets  on different mornings in St-Tropez, Port Grimaud, Grimaud, Cogolin, and La Garde Freinet. These markets bustle with storeholders selling their local fresh seasonal produce, flowers, clothing and handicrafts.
Restaurants: There are a host of marvellous restaurants to satisfy every palate and pocket.
Supermarkets and shops: The nearest hypermarket is located on the outskirts of Ste Maxime. Boutiques and designer shops abound in Ste Maxime, Port Grimaud and St Tropez.
