We are finally back from our French sojourn so just wanted to say how much we enjoyed our say at Maison St Henri, the house works really well but the overriding joy is the garden with all its different places to sit and eat, and the pool, we couldn’t believe it was heated to 28 degrees!
Maubec is such a nice village and so much quieter than its more famous neighbours long may it remain undiscovered, I particularly liked walking on the white tracks which could be reached without driving.
We rarely revisit an accommodation but this may be the exception...

SH Sept 2023

The ability to host many guests is wonderful and we appreciate the well equipped kitchen. The location is perfect for exploring all the markets and activities offered in Provence. St Henri is a fabulous property. We will be back!

HM July 2022

Beautiful place, very spacious and well laid out with different corners, terraces and gardens to relax in and follow the sun. We are already already planning for next year!

JT, Switzerland

We really enjoyed our stay in your villa. Everything was perfect: beautiful house and garden and very well equipped. Thank you again for allowing us to have a wonderful week.

SL, France, August 2020

We loved the new awning above the new little table and its very useful two chairs. More white roses and other flowers had been planted, too, which made the garden even lovelier than it was last year. Marie Odile now has two very friendly, pleasant young helpers, and the gardener came immediately when I told her there was a leak in the sprinkling system. It`s pure pleasure to be there.

Ms J June 2019

The house, pool and gardens were ideal. The outdoor kitchen was fabulous, we cooked a BBQ twice in the week. The village had 2 great restaurants which we tried and there was another which was attached to a hotel that looked worth trying.

The village wa in a great spot for exploring the many beautiful villages. We had a great day Kayaking (3 of us) on the river which took us under the Ponte du Guard. Was an amazing experience.

The many vineyards is a wine lovers delight. We managed to squeeze in a visit to a local one which the owner suggested. Lovely host.

We would love to go back and stay again and explore further. It was extremely hot 1/2 of the week which limited us a little but certainly did not impact the great time we had.

Also thanks for the great correspondence during requesting reservation and up to the point of travel - the document you sent on the area was perfect and we used it allot to plan our days.

Would certainly be back if we can. My parents loved the photos and are also thinking of booking.

JK, Uk, July 2019

Once again, we had a fabulous time at the house in Maubec. The location is perfect, the kitchen is well inventoried, the outdoor area is spectacular and for these reasons, we always enjoy returning to the house and would not hesitate recommending it. In fact, our friends have reserved the house for next September.

Mr and Mrs M, Canada, June 2018

Excellent! A fantastic place which we will definitely return too. The house was immaculately clean and the grounds beautifully maintained. The outside seating areas are wonderful to sit with a glass of wine and enjoy the beautiful rose and lavender garden. It’s also great for us to find accommodation of this quality that accepts our dog, because we wouldn’t leave her at home!
The heated pool was fabulous, when the weather was dull we could still enjoy a swim and it was kept lovely and clean by the UV cleaning system!

KG from UK, May 2018

The place is wonderful as is, and improvements have been made--more chairs and new flowers in the garden. The harmonious flow between the outside (lawn and gardens) and the inside meant we really lived al fresco.

AJ from USA

Excellent. Maison St Henri is in a beautiful village with all of the essentials on the doorstep. It is within very easy reach of numerous villages, walks etc so there is plenty to do (with little effort!).
The house was spotlessly clean, very comfortable, and very private. The setting was simply lovely with a number of outdoor areas to relax in and a wonderful pool.
Mme Odile was extremely accommodating and helpful. In fact, everyone that we met was friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend the property and the village.

Mrs W, UK, Sept 2017

beautiful, stylish, very well equipped, best accommodation we have had in Provence. absolutely stunning. will be returning next summer
Mr M, Suffolk, October 2016
The reality of this house far exceeds the pictures on the website. We had a glorious two weeks at the house and enjoyed every minute. The kitchen is very well equipped as is the BBQ area which is where we ate all our evening meals (not without first spraying ourselves with mosquito repellent). Everything has been thoughtfully designed from the house to the garden and Mikael left a ladder out so we could cut grapes from the vine - they were so sweet and delicious
Mr K, OXFORD, United Kingdom, August 2016
I'm writing to say that we've had an absolutely wonderful time in this perfect house in Maubec. The house itself is beautiful and runs perfectly smoothly, the pool is nothing short of exquisite, the garden is beautiful, the personnel are great (tall, smiling Mikael and warm, energetic Odile), the proximity to art towns and markets is ideal. Our family and friends have had a marvelous time!
Ms J, USA, May 2016
Lovely place and beautifully appointed. Pool, BBQ etc were ideal. Great restaurant in the village.
Mr W, Cambridgeshire, UK, July 2014

Absolutely loved the Maison, Mickael was charming and helpful (we had a flat tire on arrival, he got it repaired that day!) I want to live in the Maison!
Ms P, USA, April 2014

Maison St Henri is simply stunning. A fabulous location, superb facilities and great advice and local knowledge from Helen at JDV holidays. Highly recommended.
Mrs H,  June 2013

The property was outstanding!
Mrs M, London, Sept 2013

Fantastic property - exceeded our expectations in comfort and luxury. Superbly well furnished and stocked especially the kitchen and outdoor kitchen/BBQ. The owners have clearly given a great deal of thought to what their guests would need. Everything about it is beautifully done and a great deal of thought has obviously gone into it – there wasn’t a single thing lacking and everything provided was of the highest quality. Highly recommended
Mrs C, Shropshire, UK, July 2013

It was very lovely and was all that we expected.
Mrs L, Kent, UK, June 2013
Superb accommodation. Excellently equipped and beautifully luxurious. The house was beautiful and the owner and staff were very kind and helpful during our stay. We cannot express how delighted we were with our holiday and really did not want to come home.
Mrs H, Somerset, June 2012.

A superb, well equipped, clean and comfortable property with lovely gardens and a well maintained pool.
Mr R, Kent, UK. August 2011.
The villa was excellently equipped (particularly the kitchen) spacious, well-laid out allowing privacy for two families and very comfortable. The girls (and the pool man) who looked after the property were great - considerate and helpful. The grounds were cleverly arranged, with shady and quiet areas, lovely planting and a well designed pool area. The covered outdoor dining area was perfect for card games as well as family meals. The welcome box of fresh fruit was a great start to a lovely holiday.
Mrs P, London, UK, July 2011
Beautiful property in a delightful, quiet village close to all of the tourist hotspots in the Luberon. We couldn't have had a better location for our first visit to the area.  Very Satisfied. Mr N, Birmingham, September 2009

We absolutely loved our stay at Maison St Henri. It was complete home-from-home and lovely to find a place cleaned to "my standards!". We loved the completely private and beautiful garden of jasmine, white roses, lavender and olive trees, tucked away behind high walls and not overlooked by anyone. The beautiful pool and the immaculately clean house made it difficult to want to leave this property!

I wouldn"t hesitate in recommending both Maison St Henri and JDV Holidays. I will definitely use them again in the future.
